Fusion is a small gated community in the Hollyglen neighborhood of Hawthorne adjacent to Manhattan Beach. The townhomes and condos were built from 2005-2007 and is technically located in the neighborhood of Hawthorne known as Hollyglen. It is a unique area due to it’s location just east of Manhattan and El Segundo and offers it’s own award winning school system knows as Wiseburn. The community features 2 and 3 bedroom townhome style condominiums and the community features some nice open space areas as well as pool and spa.

Fusion is a fantastic alternative for buyers looking in the nearby cities of Redondo Beach, El Segundo and Manhattan Beach. Due simply to the zip code, Fusion offers much newer, nicer and larger home options for a much lower price.
When we were at the peak of the market the townhomes in the Fusion complex drew a great deal of interest for many priced out of the nearby Beach Cities. Fusion is technically on 149th Street in Hawthorne, but is just off Aviation Blvd and directly across the street from Manhattan Beach. As the market cooled so did the prices in Fusion and we saw smaller 2 bedroom townhomes selling below $400,000 which was hard to believe now looking back on it. Long gone are those days and the market dramatically rebounded with the lowest prices now being closer to $850,000.
Some of the benefits are:
- Location – just a short drive to the beach with nearby freeway access and a short drive to LAX. Many people had a negative impression about Hawthorne, but that has definitely changed….especially in the Hollyglen area. There are some great homes for sale in Hawthorne CA in some highlight areas like Hollyglen, Del Aire and Bodger Park.
- Schools – The community is served by the award winning Wiseburn School District.
- Newer Construction – The homes still feel fairly new with some having been updated and even the original homes usuallly featuring modern finishes including granite kitchen counters, stainless steel appliances, hardwood floors and many additional features
- Options – the units have a number of floorplans, configurations and sizes to choose from.
