Just a bit east of El Segundo is the somewhat secret city of Lawndale. It’s not that nobody knows about it but it’s often overlooked. It’s one of the smaller cities in the South Bay and as it’s tucked in between Redondo Beach, Hawthorne, Torrance and Gardena it’s fairly easy to miss. This little city has some great housing options and is still one of the more reasonably affordable areas for what you get. Much of it surrounds the Alondra Park area which offers a great park, playground, golf, swimming and more. A few of the more valuable areas include the small strip just east of Redondo Beach as well as the unicorporated neighborhood of El Camino Village. With a great communtiy feel and some great tree lined streets this may be the best value in the South Bay. Lawnale CA real estate options run from some very inexpensive condo buildings to the great single family homes of El Camino Village and just about everything in between. One relatively unique aspect is the abundance of duplex and investment properties for sale in Lawndale.
