September was a great month for both home sales and home prices in the small coastal community of El Segundo.
Although it was definitely not as impressive as the summer months, September 2024 was very good for home sales and home prices in El Segundo. There were 6 closed escrows which was a slight drop from the eight in August and ten in July.
The average “asking” price was an impressive $1,845,983 with the average sold price for the homes in El Segundo that closed at $1,767,500 which was a big increase from $1,535,801 in August but well below the amazing $2,027,279.
$1,005 was the average price per square foot and homes averaged only 25 days on market (DOM) before going into escrow.

July was a great month for both home sales and home prices in the small coastal community of El Segundo. 10 homes closed escrow during the month which is a big number for this small community but prices were even more impressive!
The average “list” price was $2,085,700 with the average sold price for the homes in El Segundo that closed at $2,027,279 which was a great increase from both June at $1,756,250 and May at $1,914,800.
$986 was the average doller per square foot and homes averaged 40 days on market (DOM) before going into escrow.

2024June 2024 was a bit of a slow down and let down after after the two very impressive months of April and May in terms of the number of homes that sold. There were 4 homes in El Segundo that closed escrow compared to 10 in May.
The average “list” price for the homes that sold was $1,752,250 with the average sales price at $1,756,250 which was also down from May’s average price of $1,914,800.
$802 was the average price per square foot and homes averaged 30 days on market before going into escrow. Of the 4 homes that sold 2 were single family home, 1 condo and 1 townhome.
