It was pretty clear that the impacts of the coronavirus was definitely felt in April. There were only 3 closed home sales compared with 10 the year earlier. That’s the bad news…..the good news is that other numbers were solid. The median sales price for the month was $993,000 and days on market was only 7 which is pretty incredible. Segundo averages around ten to eleven home sales a month, the 17 sold homes was a big number, especially when considering the usual slower market in late fall. November is not traditionally an overly active months for real estate in El Segundo.
