Welcome to the El Segundo Real Estate Market Update for September 2024
September was a great month for both home sales and home prices in the small coastal community of El Segundo.
Although it was definitely not as impressive as the summer months, September 2024 was very good for home sales and home prices in El Segundo. There were 6 closed escrows which was a slight drop from the eight in August and ten in July.
The average “asking” price was an impressive $1,845,983 with the average sold price for the homes in El Segundo that closed at $1,767,500 which was a big increase from $1,535,801 in August but well below the amazing $2,027,279.
$1,005 was the average price per square foot and homes averaged only 25 days on market (DOM) before going into escrow.
