May A Fantastic Month For El Segundo Home Sales & Prices

Welcome to the El Segundo Real Estate Market Update for May 2024

What a month it was for both the number of homes that sold and the prices that they sold for.  There were 10 homes that closed escrow during May which was one higher than the 9 in April.

The average list price for the homes that sold in El Segundo was $1,886,000 with an average sold price of $1,914,800!  That was a big number….especially when compared with April’s average price of $1,299,500 and the  March average of $1,624,000.

Homes that sold averaged $895. Homes averaged an incredibly short 16 days on market before going into pending status.

5 Homes Sell in El Segundo in March 2024

Welcome to the El Segundo Real Estate Market Update for MarchPacific Landing homes in El Segundo

Ater a big February with 11 sold homes, March was a bit of a downturn.  There were only 5 sold homes in March

The average “list” price was $1,571,380 with the average sold price of $1,624,000 for the homes in El Segundo.  This was a healthy increase from $1,442,636 in February but down from January.

$943 was the average price per foot and homes averaged 76 days on market before going into escrow.

Welcome to the El Segundo Real Estate Market Update forEl Segundo homes for sale February

It was a very solid month for real estate in El Segundo in terms of the number of home sales.  Prices were quite a bit lower than averageds in January,  although the average prices in January were unusually high.

The average “list” price for the homes that sold in El Segundo was $1,440,727 with the average sold price at  $1,442,636 which was fairly typical.  As mentioned above it was well down from the unusually high January prices in which homes averaged $1,777,200.

$839 was the average per square foot which was a big drop from $1,121 a square foot in January. It took an average of 35 days on market before going into pending status.
